What is F.R.A.P. Certification?
Your complete training on how to understand, implement and teach the four profit levers.
- Part 1: You’ll learn FRAP by going through Profit Academy.
- Part 2: You’ll learn how to teach FRAP and launch, lead, and grow a FRAP Chapter. You’ll also get all the meeting templates and scripts you need.
- Part 3: You’ll take the FRAP Certification exam. Pass that and you’re certified.
Is this legit?
Yes. F.R.A.P. (Frequency, Referrals, Average Ticket, Pricing) is a proven four-lever framework that private equity firms use to unlock hidden profit in businesses. Josh has been teaching and implementing it for years with over a thousand business owners.
Do I need to be a business coach or have coaching experience?
No. You need to care about helping local business owners and be willing to follow the process. We give you the framework, the scripts, and the meeting templates. Honestly, the owners in your Chapter will teach each other as much as you teach them. That’s the power of a mastermind.
And if you’ve never done anything like this before, that’s okay. Some of our best Chapter Leaders are business owners who implemented FRAP in their own business first, saw how powerful it was, and decided to share it with their community. If you can follow instructions and show up for people, you can do this.
How much time does it actually take?
Once your Chapter is running, about 5 to 6 hours a month. You facilitate meetings twice a month, usually 60 to 90 minutes each, then a little follow-up. It’s designed to fit into your existing life without crashing your core business.
What if no one joins my Chapter?
We’re not certifying you and sending you into the wild. You get step-by-step guidance, conversation scripts and a done-for-you funnel to help bring in 5 to 12 or more local business owners, and your account rep walks you through the whole launch.
How much can I realistically make?
It depends on how many members you have. Most Chapter Leaders charge around $500 a month per member, so 12 members is about $6,000 a month and 24 is about $12,000. We’re not promising you’ll make six figures right out the gate. This is a legitimate way to create meaningful income while helping your local business community.
Is this a tax write off?
Yes. Section 179 of the IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying tools, equipment and software purchased or financed during that tax year. F.R.A.P. Certification qualifies as a business development investment.
